CFD.HU Fluid Mechanics Ltd. was established in 2003, as the official Hungarian representative of Fluent Europe Ltd., possessing the FLUENT distribution-rights. Since 2005 we have also been supplying KANAL++ software - used for canal simulation projects. In early 2006 FLUENT Inc. was purchased by ANSYS, the giant distributor of mechanical numerical simulation software. Therefore, in 2007 our product-line was expanded to include ANSYS CFD software.

As a result of being the Hungarian distributor of ANSYS CFD software, a close affiliation with the academically acclaimed Budapest University of Technology and Economics developed.  By combining advanced CFD software with skilled experts, CFD.HU is therefore capable of providing effective consulting for any fluid dynamic based investigation.

Participating in a successful EU tender in 2005 we launched our more in-depth research into pool-technology. Due to our innovative work we can now simulate flow processes in swimming-pools irrespective of their specific geometry and diffuser allocation, we can measure the chlorine-concentration and the temperature, and all these services are accessible via our website.
